African heroes are a group of orphans were brought to Australia by African Equity, funded by Chris Anderson and Nick Mandalis in December 09. The orphans recorded 7 seven songs including 5 originals from their repiotoir, with the help of Tall Poppy Productions.


What started out as a basic demo recording gave birth to a monster, which is now the "Heroes of the Nation" compilation CD including 8 songs written by the African heroes, recorded and produced by Tall Poppy, and 1 song recorded at a studio in Nairobi, Kenya. All songs are available through Itunes store, or through www.africanheroes.com.au . All proceeds of the recordings and albums are donated to African Equity and the "Heroes Of The Nation" orphanage.
